Pressure Chart: 1 Pc SS Ball Valve

  • Pressure Rating is 1000 PSI at normal room Tempratures

Why is it called a One Piece Ball Valve?

  • The one piece ball valve has no body joints which means the body is made out of of one pieces, giving rise to the name “one" piece.

How to use a Ball Valve:

  • Flow is controlled with a 90 degree turn of the handle.
  • When the handle is at 90 degrees to the flow, then the flow is off.
  • When the handle is parallel with the flow, then flow is open.

Function of the Ball Valve:

  • To provide a simple 'flow on' or 'flow off' control function.
  • Through a process called throttling, the flow rate can be regulated by partially opening or closing the valve.

Installing a Ball Valve:

  •  To Install into your application simply thread Male Threads of the same size into either of the female threaded ends

Why is a One Piece Ball Valve a Reduced port?

  • This 1 piece body design doesn't allow a larger ball to be installed at the time of manufacture, making this a standard bore ball valve (Reduced port) .
  • Reduced port means that the inside diameter (ID) is one size smaller than the pipe it is connected to.
  • This means that pressure drop and flow rate can be affected.

Advantages of a 1 Piece Ball Valve:

  • Since there are no body joints, this valve is not likely to leak from the body.
  • They are robust and durable.

Custom Labelling

  • ● Handle covers can be custom labeled with a choice of colors besides the usual blue plastic cover
