• Product Description:
• ● A 3" pipe nipple is a 3" pipe made at certain preselected lengths. (Stainless Steel 304)
• ● Most commonly 4", 6" and 8" lengths.
• ● 3" Male NPT threads on either end.
• Used for:
• ● Used to connect two 3" fittings at a specific distance apart.
• ● Used to add 3" pipe lengths to threaded components.
• ● Used to extend 3" piping.
• To Install:
• ● Thread the 3" male threads into 3" female threads.
• ● Then thread the other end of the nipple.
• ● Tighten the connection, using a wrench if required.
• Also referred to as:
• ● 3" TBE Nipple.
• ● 3" Tube Nipple.
• ● 3" Barrel Nipple.
• Other Options:
• ● Other options include Hex Nipples, which have a hexagonal-shaped head between the threads.
• ● Another option is a Close Nipple, which has no unthreaded section between the threaded ends.
