• Product Description:
• ● A 1/2" pipe nipple is a 1/2" pipe made at certain preselected lengths. (Stainless Steel 304)
• ● Most commonly 1-1/2", 2",2-1/2", 3", 4", 4-1/2", 5", 6", 7-1/2", 8" and 12" lengths.
• ● 1/2" Male NPT threads on both ends.
• Used for:
• ● Used to connect two 1/2" fittings at a specific pre-decided distance apart.
• ● Used to add 1/2" pipe lengths to threaded components.
• ● Used to extend 1/2" piping.
• To Install:
• ● Thread the 1/2" male threaded end into 1/2" female threads.
• ● Then thread the other end of the nipple.
• ● Tighten the connection, using a wrench if required.
• Also referred to as:
• ● 1/2" TBE Nipple.
• ● 1/2" Tube Nipple.
• ● 1/2" Barrel Nipple.
• Other Options:
• ● Other options include Hex Nipples, which have a hexagonal-shaped head between the threads.
• ● Another option is a Close Nipple, which has no unthreaded section between the threaded ends.
