When the valve is closed the hole is not aligned with the flow and the handle is perpendicular to the pipe. These Full Port Valves are suitable for Water/Oil/Gas (WOG). Their ability to provide a quick shut off along with their low torque requirement for operation make them suitable for high performance applications.
