• ● A king nipple's size is based on the size of the thread or hose they will connect to.
• ● The size indicates the size of both the hose shank and the male thread.
• ● For Example: A  2" king nipple fitting will have a 2" male thread and install into a 2" hose end.

King nipples, also known as combination nipples, are hose fittings used to connect hoses to fittings, pipes and other threaded components. The term “combination” in the name refers to its combined functionality of having both a threaded connection and a hose connection. They are cylindrical in shape and are in effect a short piece of pipe. They are wider on the end with threads then taper down to a smaller diameter for the hose barb portion of the fitting. King fittings have a hose barb on one end and male NPT (National Pipe Thread) threads on the other. The barbed end is inserted into a hose end and then clamped or crimped, providing a strong grip that minimizes the risk of leaks or disconnection. They are designed to securely join hoses to pumps, valves, tanks, and other equipment ensuring a tight seal for the transfer of liquids or gas. These KC Nipples are constructed out of  stainless steel 316 making them rust and corrosion resistant ensuring a long service life. They are commonly used in low and medium pressure systems for tasks like fluid transfer or fuel handling.
