Viton Camlock Gaskets are installed into Type B, Type C, and Type D couplers as well as into Dust Caps.

What is a Viton Gasket?

Viton Camlock Gaskets are gaskets designed to be used in cam and groove couplings to create a tight seal when a pair of  camlocks are connected together. These gaskets are made from Viton which is a high performance synthetic rubber and fluoropolymer elastomer compound.  They  are installed into female couplers after purchase to make them suitable for special applications beyond the standard parameters. Viton gaskets have an excellent resistance to extreme heat, concentrated chemicals and corrosive liquids which makes this specialized seal suitable for demanding applications where a standard gasket may not be suitable. With a high temperature tolerance ranging from approximately -13°F to 392°F (-25°C to 200°C), Viton cam and groove gaskets can maintain their sealing ability even in high heat and harsh environments. Their good resistance to ozone, UV exposure and oxidation make them durable and well suited outdoor and heavy industrial use. Although they are highly suited to petroleum-based fluids and harsh chemicals they are less effective against some ketones. Available in various sizes from ½” up to 6” to fit standard female cam lock couplings.
